Join us today as we celebrate World Autism Awareness Day, established in 2007 to highlight the need to help improve the quality of life of those with autism so they can lead full and meaningful lives as an integral part of society.
In alignment with our Independent Living Initiatives Program and to honor the Autism Community on this special day, Music Movement has issued a $5,000 grant to AIM Services’ LIFE (Living Independently For Everyone) Transition Fund, designed to support individuals with Developmental Disabilities seeking independence in their lives.The LIFE Transition Fund provides financial literacy guidance and supported apartments transition support.
When an individual is contemplating moving into a non-certified site from a certified site, residential school, or home, they are often faced with challenging up-front costs. To bridge this gap, the LIFE Transition Fund offers zero-percent interest loans to offset costs and allows the loan to be paid back in low monthly installments over time.
