Memorial Day Celebrity Softball Game
The Memorial Day Celebrity Softball Classic at Air Hog Stadium in Grand Prairie was a great event honoring our military and first responders. Music Movement Ambassador, Shawn Piper “Pipes” was a highlight of the event with an unforgettable performance of Take me Out to the Ballgame! Music Movement also honored a deserving military family with a donation presentation to support the needs of their son living with ASD.
This program teaches so much more than cognitive function, social interaction, behavioral skills and music skills although we certainly benefit from all of those things. It has also taught them determination, the reward of learning and patience with themselves.
